My pursuit of stuttering education and best practices led me on a journey lasting over a decade. It sent me from Colorado to Wyoming, to New Zealand, to Texas, and finally back to my home state to bring stutter-affirming practices to my community. My perspective and philosophy for stuttering assessment and treatment is the culmination of research evidence, talking with people who stutter, and my experiences ranging from traditional stuttering therapy to the C.A.R.E. model™ and everything in-between. I can’t wait to share with you what I have learned from working with what is now hundreds of people who stutter across 3 continents and counting.
